How Can We Help?

Prayer times are calculated using astronomical algorithms based on your GPS coordinates, elevation, and the calculation method set in your app settings. Different mosques may use different calculation methods (e.g., ISNA, MWL, Egyptian Authority). Try adjusting the calculation method in Settings → Prayer Times to match your local mosque.

First, ensure notifications are enabled in your device settings for Prayio. On Android, check that "Do Not Disturb" mode or battery optimization isn't blocking notifications. On iOS, go to Settings → Prayio → Notifications and enable "Allow Notifications". Also verify that reminders are toggled on within the Prayio app settings.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. This will permanently remove your profile, prayer records, streaks, and all associated data within 30 days. This action is irreversible. If you're unable to access the app, email us at technext96@gmail.com and we'll manually process your deletion request.

Streaks are calculated based on your local midnight timezone. If you changed device timezone or the app was offline during sync, it may have caused an incorrect reset. We currently don't offer manual streak restoration, but you can use a "Streak Freeze" (if available in your account) to protect against future breaks. The Qibla compass uses your device's GPS to determine your current location and calculates the great-circle bearing to the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. The compass also uses your device's magnetometer (compass sensor) for real-time direction. For accurate results, calibrate your phone's compass by moving it in a figure-8 pattern before use, and avoid metal surfaces that can interfere with the magnetometer.

Prayer time calculations work offline once your location has been set. However, community features (rooms, pacts, stories), badge syncing, and profile updates require an internet connection. Prayer notifications scheduled on-device will continue to fire even without internet connectivity.
